Irvine, CA – June 27, 2017 – Tim Britt, CEO of Synoptek, was recognized as one of the top three CEOs for technology companies in Orange County. The Entrepreneur Of The Year awards program, now celebrating 31 years, recognizes entrepreneurs who are excelling in the areas of innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment, extended to their businesses and communities. Tim Britt was selected by a panel of independent judges for Synoptek’s achievements in these areas.
Tim launched Synoptek in 2001 as an IT consulting business serving large enterprise companies. The business grew between 2001 to 2005 , and then Synoptek went in search of how to create and build more value. The company looked for gaps in the market as well as challenges organizations faced in running caliber enterprise IT operations. Synoptek acquired an IT managed service provider (MSP) in 2015 which added the operations component to their already growing planning and implementation business. Between 2005 and 2017, the company continued to build on this vision, expanding geographically, building out industry expertise, and diversifying their service portfolio. The company continues to grow both organically and through acquisitions that are driven by a need to acquire certain capabilities or to benefit from a market expansion. Between 2012 and 2017, under Tim’s leadership, Synoptek completed nine acquisitions with a growth rate of 750%.
