Arc Network provides critical news, data, analysis, marketing solutions, and events for legal professionals. The organization needed a partner to develop, enhance, support, and optimize its mission-critical websites and applications. This included modernizing key applications onto a layered architecture, building a lead prospecting tool with advanced filtering, maintaining websites with fast search, and developing a market directory application.
Synoptek provided application modernization along with web development, enhancement, support, and maintenance services across Arc Network’s website portfolio, re-architecting core applications, upgrading legacy data pipelines, and building new lead prospecting and market directory tools.
- Re-architected EINFinder onto a modern layered architecture (Web API, Business Logic, Data Access, Infrastructure) on a supported tech stack, and built a new, dedicated Small Group Markets (SGM) application with an Angular frontend.
- Upgraded SSIS packages to SSDT 2012/2025, replacing legacy third-party tools with in-house Script Tasks and running CSV and Data Flow processing in parallel for a faster, more stable data cycle.
- Developed an Apache Solr-powered lead prospecting tool with dashboards, advanced search, and exports, a market directory application for listings and CMS management, and a responsive Drupal 6 website with custom member and content modules.
The modernization initiative delivered faster, more reliable applications and new revenue-generating tools across Arc Network’s website portfolio.
- EINFinder: 30% faster performance, improved security, and a scalable foundation for future features.
- Small Group Markets: A dedicated, modular application managing SGM data independently of the broader system.
