Matthew Murdock is Practice Director, Cybersecurity at Synoptek. Matt will lead the charge in solidifying cybersecurity initiatives and ensuring the protection of client's digital assets. His expertise in cybersecurity flourished during his tenure at RGP, where he dedicated a decade to growing his management consulting career. Matt played a pivotal role in the Governance, Risk, and Compliance practice specializing in cybersecurity, data privacy, PCI compliance, and SOC 1 & 2 audits while fortifying organizations against evolving threats.
Part time, Matt serves as a Battalion Communications Officer in the Army National Guard. Through his continuing military service, Matt hones his leadership skills and gains invaluable experience in managing complex communication systems and information security. He has a deep sense of discipline and commitment to excellence, which continues to define his professional journey.
Matthew is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and holds an MBA degree from the University of Connecticut School of Business.
