IRVINE, CA – February 13, 2018 – Synoptek LLC, a consulting and IT services company, announces the appointment of John Frazier as the new Chief Operating Officer. Frazier will assume responsibility for Synoptek’s managed IT services delivery. Synoptek provides complete end-to-end planning, implementation and operation of IT services for their customers. Frazier joins the firm with the mission of scaling operations to support continued growth and expansion.
Synoptek has experienced rapid growth over the past few years as companies increasingly turn to IT service providers to plan, manage and support their critical IT systems. In anticipation of continued growth and the increasing demand for complex hyper-scale cloud solutions such as AWS and Azure, Synoptek sought to bring on stronger operational leadership with experience in managing and securing customer cloud solutions.“We were looking for an operational leader that could provide transformative leadership, as we are increasingly managing and securing cloud solutions for our customers,”states CEO Tim Britt.“Our customers struggle to develop and build the necessary processes or possess the skillsets to manage complex systems in the new hyper-scale cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. They turn to us to help them move to the cloud and manage these environments going forward. John brings the operational leadership necessary to help our customers make this transition,”said Britt.
John Frazier previously held positions at Deloitte and JDA Software Group, Inc. John was a Chief Delivery Officer at Deloitte, working in the Managed Risk Services business unit, where he was responsible for the build-out of delivery and client management functions. Prior to that, John served as Vice President of Cloud Services at JDA Software Group, with a focus on operations and delivery for an organic growth business, which grew materially under his leadership. John brings over 27 years of experience in managed services, IT operations, and security/forensics from varying industries and locations.
John served in the United States Air Force as a supervisory special agent focused on cybercrime. In this role, he worked with a team to develop computer forensic and investigative techniques that would later be adopted by many agencies. He has been instrumental in building strong practices around technology and service delivery, and transforming on-premise software delivery companies to cloud-based companies.
In his new role as Chief Operating Officer for Synoptek, John is charged with further enhancing the company’s world-class service and operations organization. This move will maximize customer satisfaction and contribute to the company’s delivery of state-of-the art managed IT services. The new COO will report directly to Synoptek CEO, Tim Britt, and work closely with the Synoptek management team to develop and execute added strategic growth initiatives. These initiatives include: supporting large-customer sales, evolving operational excellence (process, architecture, and tools), and driving strategic initiatives for improved day-to-day operations.
