With over 35 years of experience in management consulting and technology leadership, Tim Britt is the founder and visionary force behind Synoptek. Since founding the company in 2001, Tim has guided Synoptek’s evolution from a regional consulting firm into a globally recognized, full-service systems integrator and managed services provider. His vision was clear: deliver high-value consulting and IT services that are rooted in measurable results, operational excellence, and unwavering customer commitment.

As Executive Chairman of Synoptek’s Board of Directors, Tim continues to play an influential role in shaping the company’s future advising on strategic initiatives and business development.

Throughout his career, Tim has provided strategic IT consulting and implementation leadership to a wide range of global enterprises. Before founding Synoptek, he served as CTO at Ourhouse.com, Ace Hardware’s e-commerce division, where he led the development of the company’s end-to-end digital and ERP infrastructure, managing a team of over 100 engineers and analysts.

Prior to Ourhouse.com, Tim was a consultant at Kurt Salmon Associates. There, Tim developed and implemented operational strategies to achieve outstanding results for clients across the globe including distribution consolidation for the largest retailer in Japan, implementation of a new merchandise planning process for one of the largest big-box retailers in Japan, and streamlining the product development process for a large, branded international apparel manufacturer.

Tim holds an Industrial Engineering degree from Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA degree from J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University.

He lives in Irvine, California, is married, and has four children. He is an avid outdoor person; in his free time, he enjoys skiing, hiking, biking, running, fishing etc. He also has several philanthropic interests, especially in the areas of conservation and education.
