BOISE, ID – (October 29, 2014) – The Velma V. Morrison Center for the Performing Arts has announced a new upgraded website at MorrisonCenter.com. The Morrison Center is “Idaho’s Premier Performing Arts Center” hosting popular musicals, ballets, symphony concerts and lecture series. Synoptek’s IT software development team, located in Boise, worked with Morrison Center marketing staff to improve the effectiveness and usability of their existing website.
Synoptek transitioned the existing website platform to WordPress which, when implemented properly, enhances the functionality and overall feel of the site. In addition to several user improvements, the site now provides real-time Facebook feeds on the Home Page.
With over 200 event bookings per year, thousands of page views per month and over 130,000 patrons, Synoptek improved the back-end features and ease of use so event information can be more easily updated and managed. More importantly, the site is now fully responsive and functional on mobile devices.
Director of Ticket Relations, Debbie Eidson said, “The future of ticketing is mobile and our new website will support our endeavors in this space by providing a safe, customer-friendly environment to purchase verified tickets.” Currently over 90% of the patrons do online transactions.
